LTP will upload continuing education hours to the IRS provided that you have entered your name and PTIN (preparer tax identification number) correctly in your profile page. If you have not provided us with your PTIN, we will contact you via the email on your account. If you do not respond to the email, your hours will not be uploaded to the IRS.
In order for the LTP staff to upload the continuing education hours, you need to print your certificate. If you forgot to enter your PTIN, you may email your information to [email protected]. In the subject line, please enter PTIN INFO AFTR course. The information needed is your name as it appears on your PTIN and your PTIN number. Please do not send your Certificate of Completion to the IRS.
This AFTR course and test must be completed prior to midnight on December 31st.
